Dowel clamps
The dowel-clamp is quite application-specific type of cable fastening. It is a one-piece element that combines the functions of the embedded and fixing fasteners — dowel and clamp. In appearance the dowel resembles a kind of toothed clamp-foot with a fixing loop. The shape of the loop differs depending on the shape of the fixing cable — round or flat.
One of the main purposes of the dowel clamp is to fix and hold cables of various types and purposes with a diameter of up to 25 mm on almost any surface of sufficient thickness when carrying out surface mounting work.
Usage
Electrical installation work
Dowel clamps are used for arranging and banding cables and wires, marking and fixing cables during the installation of electrical wiring and structured cabling systems. They are often used for wiring at various events and exhibitions.
Plumbing
Dowel clamps are used for creating flexible connections (PVC pipes, HDPE pipes, etc.), assembling structures, and laying network systems.

Ziplex branded dowel clamps are made from PP-A4 polypropylene, which is able to retain its mechanical properties at low temperatures and is a frost-resistant material. Resistant to the detrimental of fuels and lubricants and many chemical substances. It has good chemical resistance and high strength characteristics.
The dowel clamps are available in three standard colors: white, black, gray.
